Alternative Remedy

My puppy has allergies, and he coughs a lot. He’s been checked, has all his vaccines and he’s perfectly healthy otherwise.

My vet has recommended benadryl for his allergy cough, and I know it will take a few days to start working. But, I wanted to consider alternative remedies, just to see if I can avoid having my pet on medicine for a long period of time.

Of course, please answer only if you have tested the remedy and it has not harmed your pet.
